For those of you coming from outside of the Bay Area, there are 3 major airports in the vicinity:
SAN FRANCISCO (SFO) - 45 MINUTES BY CAR
OAKLAND (OAK) – 45 MINUTES BY CAR
SAN JOSE (SJC) – 80 MINUTES BY CAR
We encourage you to fly into SFO. To find a good deal on a flight, we recommend that you try Kayak, Southwest, or Virgin America.

For available car rental options, please visit the rental car centers at SFO, OAK, and SJC. To find a good deal on a car, we recommend that you check Hotwire, Priceline, or Expedia.
Taxis and shared shuttles will be the most expensive option up there so we suggest grouping together to share costs.

Traveling to Mill Valley via public transportation is fairly easy but a bit time consuming. If you choose to take public transit, BART rapid rail connects SFO and OAK to San Francisco where you can take a Golden Gate Transit bus up to Mill Valley. If you decide to fly into SJC, Caltrain will take you in to San Francisco where you can jump on a bus to Mill Valley.
